Our Story
PetMatch began as a project for an entrepreneurship class at the University of Denver. We had each had previous ideas and had begun to explore them but soon realized that we were not passionate about them. We went back to the drawing board and all looked through our idea journals from the beginning of the school year. Ashton suggested we use her PetMatch idea which had not previously passed the idea proposals in class. Clare, also a pet lover and owner and Kathy, a pet lover and business major liked the idea. Seeing as we are all passionate about the community and helping pets not only find a home but their perfect match we decided to found PetMatch.
